Paper is shown here in all its diversity and usability.
The sensory, varied perception of paper is intended to generate a positive assessment in comparison to digital media, which can only be perceived audibly and visually.
To feel, eat, smell, hear and see paper.
Paper as a link between the digital and analog worlds is shown with great empathy here.
The bright glass wall attracts the visitor from far away. In contrast to the cool glass facade, the warm materials wood, corrugated cardboard and the natural shades of the papers immediately create a pleasant feeling with a reference to the haptic value of paper.
Paper as a medium should be shown on an equal footing with digital media.
The special eye-catcher of the stand is therefore a book made of handmade paper on which a film is projected by a beamer. The basis of the film is a piece of music with instruments made of paper sandwich bags. To this rhythm, texts on the subject of digital and analogue media are drawn. The projection onto the real book gives the film a magical character.
The complete stand can be reconstructed as the glass wall system is a modular system developed by Ueberholz.
